Educational Site Usage

Further Maths Course Goals

Our curriculum provides an ambitious academic pathway specifically designed for the AQA Level 2 Certificate in Further Maths. Designed for motivated Year 10 and 11 pupils, our sessions bridge the gap to A-level content through intensive mathematical exploration. We cultivate a structured space where students develop exceptional accuracy and logic by tackling sophisticated math concepts.

Student Participation

Regular attendance is crucial for staying current with our high-level syllabus. We require learners to attend all live meetings to ensure the whole group progresses together. While we understand that illness occurs, pupils must review all session recordings and follow-up work immediately. This dedication prevents gaps in knowledge and helps everyone sustain the high standards needed for this qualification.

Behaviour & Microsoft 365

Math Tutoring Online has a zero-tolerance stance on bullying. We provide a safe space where harassment or disruptive conduct in any digital forum is banned. If rules are broken, parents are informed and the student may be removed without refund. Additionally, students are provided a Microsoft 365 Business Basic account under our business license to attend lessons, hand in work, and message tutors. Please read the Microsoft Services Agreement at https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/servicesagreement.

Upfront Billing

All lesson fees for our courses must be paid in advance.

FEES & REFUNDS

Payment & Refund Policies

Unenrolment Period

Parents have a one-month grace period to unenrol. Refunds apply only to future lessons; taught sessions are non-refundable.

Refund Process

When unenrolling, your final refund will be calculated by subtracting the cost of all lessons already delivered to the student.

Refund & Cancellation Policy

We prioritise clarity in our billing. Our policies ensure a fair transition for all students while maintaining course continuity.

  • All tuition fees are payable in advance to secure a place in our online group courses and to provide access to materials.
  • Parents are entitled to a one-month grace period to unenrol their child should the course not meet their requirements.
  • Refunds are not granted for any lessons already conducted. Each session attended is considered fully delivered and non-refundable.
  • Final refund amounts are determined by taking the total advanced payment and deducting the full value of all lessons taught so far.
  • Unenrolment must be formally requested via email to ensure accurate calculation of any remaining balance to be returned.

Personal Data & Retention

We handle your family's personal data with the utmost care, ensuring it remains internal and is never shared externally unless strictly mandated by legal requirements. For students who complete our KS4 curriculum, we retain necessary records until shortly after results day to perform a comprehensive post-course evaluation. However, if a student is unenrolled from our services at any point, all associated personal data will be promptly deleted and removed from our storage systems. This policy ensures we respect your privacy while maintaining the highest academic standards for our learners.

IP & Recording Policy: All lesson materials remain the exclusive property of Matrix Maths Tutoring. To protect students and staff, sessions are recorded using integrated AI for internal use and revision only. Distributing these resources is prohibited. By joining, you accept that we manage these digital assets to enhance learning and maintain safety.
